Martina McBride Concert

January 28, 2006 - Carrieoke Productions and WDAF 106.5 FM sponsored a "Carrieoke" contest before the Martina McBride concert.  Contestants called the radio station the week before the concert and sang Martina songs live on the radio and listeners picked the winners to compete before the concert.  The contest was held in the Replay Lounge in Kemper Arena.  The four lucky winners competed for Back Stage passes to meet Martina McBride!  Open "Carrieoke" started at 5:00 PM and at 6:00 PM the contest started.  The four semi-finalists sang their hearts out hoping to meet their idol.  They all four were so good that 106.5 decided to give them all Back Stage passes.  So everyone was a winner!
